11) Protect the screen- If you are in the habit of storing papers between the screen of your laptop and the keyboard it is possible to scratch the screen from the paper.     Very handy tips! Indeed, these are some of the things we take for granted. I would also like to add that it is also good to set up a bios (bootup) password for a laptop. This is a very important safety measure. Even if a thief can still the laptop they will have a hard time trying to crack it in order to use the laptop.
